Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Strategy function in the AI and Digital Transformation (ADT) team is at the center of establishing and executing on technology strategy across the enterprise. This primary mandate of this function includes leading development and execution of strategy that drives digital transformation and AI innovation at scale. The role will help define our North Star vision for digital experience and champion transformative, cross-enterprise AI initiatives that elevate our digital maturity, create client value, and optimize operational efficiency.

As Sr. Manager of ADT Strategy, you will partner with technology and business senior executives and senior leaders across the enterprise in defining and driving new strategic vision, addressing strategic challenges, and leading strategic initiatives that reshape how we deliver digital experiences and deploy AI capabilities.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Drive priority strategic initiatives by supporting the development of financial technology strategy, plans, scope, approach, roadmaps for enterprise digital and AI initiatives

  • Collaborate horizontally with various senior executives and leaders to provide subject matter expertise, thought leadership and act as a strategic advisor

  • Develop executive level materials for senior executives & C-suite Partner with various senior leaders across enterprise to drive strategic initiatives across Personal Banking & Digital Technology

  • Partner with PB&DT leaders to support digital strategies tied to critical business initiatives, while advancing the digital excellence program through platform integration, collaborative problem-solving, and product-focused execution across key units

  • Collaborate with RBC Borealis and other T&O teams to enable businesses with digital AI experiences and end-user agentic flows in high-impact areas, accelerating our AI-driven innovation and AI adoption

  • Help shape the North Star vision for digital experience by contributing analysis, frameworks and recommendations that improve digital maturity, creates client value, and optimizes operational efficiency

  • Lead and facilitate working sessions and planning discussions on key strategic initiatives ensuring alignment, momentum and follow-through

  • Provide ongoing thought leadership and benchmarking by tracking various technology digital and AI trends and translating external insights into practical implications for the business

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have

  • 5+ years of work experience in Strategy with a top-tier consulting firm

  • 5+ years of experience in Technology and Financial Services / Banking

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or technology related fields MBA or other comparable and professional degrees

  • Strong business acumen, with demonstrated aptitude for strategic, analytical, and critical thinking

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, influencing, and relationship building skills

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in working with senior executive level stakeholders to lead discussions and meetings
