What is the opportunity?
We are looking for a high-performing and analytically driven leader to support the evolution of RBC’s Home Equity Financing (HEF) pricing capabilities.
As Manager, Strategic Pricing Transformation, you will play a key role in executing strategic pricing initiatives that drive growth, profitability, and client value. Working closely with senior leaders across Product, Distribution, Analytics, Technology, and Finance, you will help develop and implement pricing strategies, support AI-enabled pricing initiatives, and contribute to the modernization of RBC’s mortgage pricing capabilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of pricing strategy, analytics, business transformation, and stakeholder management while helping shape the future of mortgage pricing at RBC.
What will you do?
Support Pricing Strategy and Analytics
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing actions, and portfolio performance to identify opportunities that support growth and profitability objectives.
Develop insights and recommendations that inform pricing decisions across acquisition and renewal portfolios.
Support the development of business cases, performance reporting, and executive presentations.
Monitor key pricing and business performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations to improve outcomes.
Execute Strategic Pricing Initiatives
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver pricing initiatives that improve client experience, advisor effectiveness, and financial performance.
Support the implementation of AI-driven and analytics-based pricing capabilities in partnership with Borealis and internal data science teams.
Contribute to pricing experiments, pilot programs, and test-and-learn initiatives designed to optimize business performance.
Help translate strategic objectives into executable plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate project activities and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives.
Support change management and communication efforts that drive adoption of new pricing tools, processes, and capabilities.
Prepare materials and recommendations for leadership discussions and decision-making forums
Support Pricing Modernization
Contribute to the development of next-generation pricing capabilities, processes, and tools.
Help identify opportunities to improve pricing governance, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Support initiatives that leverage automation, analytics, and AI to enhance pricing effectiveness and scalability.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
3–5 years of experience in financial services, strategy, analytics, pricing, product management, lending, or related fields.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience developing presentations, business cases, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
University degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Nice to Have
Experience in mortgage lending, home equity financing, or retail banking.
Familiarity with pricing concepts, portfolio analytics, or profitability management.
Exposure to AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or data-driven decision making.
Experience supporting business transformation or technology-enabled initiatives.
Knowledge of experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, or performance measurement.
MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant professional designation.
